I am pleased to announce that Sue Biedlingmaier has been named as the Director of Mission Support for our family of parishes: St. Cyprian, Riverview, St. Joseph, Trenton, Our Lady of the Woods, Woodhaven, Sacred Heart, Grosse Ile, St. Roch, Flat Rock and St. Timothy, Trenton The Director of Mission Support will serve all the parishes in the Family, working with the Moderator of the Family of Parishes. The Director of Mission support will lead the Mission Support Team parish and family day-to-day responsibilities related to Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Facility Management. The Director will be responsible to supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of all Mission Support staff. Sue Biedlingmaier has a BBA School of Business from Davenport University and brings 35 years of continuous work experience in Administration, Accounting and Human Resource Management. For the past 10 years she has been the director of Finance and Administration at Sacred Heart Parish Grosse Ile. Earlier this year she added the administration of St. Joseph Parish Trenton to her responsibilities, and has earned the respect and appreciation of both parishes. In addition to her skills in management and administration, Sue brings a real care for people. I’ve been impressed with the respect she shows for her co workers and for parishioners. She is always willing to collaborate with others to seek out the solution to a problem, and she is clearly a woman of great faith. In May of 202o she completed a four year course of Scripture Study with the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan. I look forward to working with Sue. As we take our first steps together in this time of transition we will keep you posted about an official start date, but I don’t imagine it would be any later than January 1, 2022. Please keep Sue and our parishes in our prayers as she prepares to embrace her new role in our Family of Parishes. Rev. Marc Gawronski More information on the Families of Parishes can be found at Familiesofparishes.org.
