Help plan and organize the Mass, liturgical seasons, & other sacred celebrations of the parish.
The primary purpose of the Worship Commission is to provide leadership in the areas of liturgy and ecumenism. This includes responsibility for administrations, worship, and education. If you would like to become a member of our commission, would like to volunteer your time and talent (see areas below you might be interested in) or if you have a question, please submit the form below and someone from the commission will contact you.

Youth, 4th grade through high school. Training provided.
*Design of liturgical events.
*Set-up and maintenance of plants/flowers in the church.
*Wash and iron church linens on a rotation basis. Training provided.
*Christ's Cleaners: Clean church once a month on Monday mornings. Rotation basis.
*Assist in celebrating The Liturgy of the Word with children once every 1-2 months at Sunday's 10:00 AM Mass.

Coordinate ministers and prepare vessels for Mass. Training provided.
Provide hospitality to parishioners at Mass. Junior high to adult Training provided.
Coordinate wedding rehearsals and ceremonies. Two coordinators serve each wedding. Training provided.
Rehearsals: Wednesday Evenings 7:00pm
Anyone, high school age or older, is welcome and encouraged to join us.
Reading music is NOT a requirement, although a love of music is, and a sense of humor helps.

*Adult Choir: The Adult Choir sings weekly at the 10:00 am Mass and at other special occasions. Weekly rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The choir sings from September to Mother’s Day. All members must be at least college age.
*School Choir: is open to all St. Joseph School Students between grade three thru eight. Practices are held on Thursdays at Noon. School choir sings at all Schools Masses throughout the year.
*Cantors: Singers who lead the congregation in song. Cantor practices are held on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Experienced singers of any age may join.
*Instrumentalists: People with experience in playing musical instruments of any kind are welcome to help accompany the music at Liturgies.
The Liturgical Adult Choir leads the assembly in sung prayer every weekend from September to May as well as various liturgical celebrations throughout the year.
This choir is open to any registered parishioner of 18 years or older and confirmed in the church. The ability to read music is helpful but not required. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30pm.

This group is open to adults and high school aged instrumentalists.
This group will join with the Adult Choir for special occasions.
Individual instrumentalists are also needed on a weekly basis to enhance the music ministry of the parish.
The ability to easily read music is mandatory. Instrumentations range from easy to medium difficulty. Auditions are required.

The cantor is both a singer and a leader of congregational song.
The psalmist proclaims the Psalm after the first reading and leads the gathered assembly in singing the refrain. This Ministry is active year around. Open to any parishioner, high school age or older, confirmed in the church. Interested persons must be interviewed by the director of Music Ministries.
An Audition is required.
